Health & PE

The Health and Physical Education program at W.P. Kimmel is designed and implemented to increase students' awareness and knowledge of the material in order to achieve overall wellness. Britton Simington and Corbin Stroh teach the Health and Physical Education classes. The subject of Health examines content that is vital to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Some of the topics introduced include: mental health, nutrition, fitness, communications, relationships, sexuality, substance abuse, and first aid. Students are given the opportunity to meet the specific criteria and objectives applied to the subject matter.

The Physical Education program is designed to increase students' physical, social, and cognitive skills. Students are given the opportunity to cooperate with others, learn new skills, exercise, and enjoy activities. The knowledge gained in this environment will enhance the ability to develop a lifestyle that promotes overall wellness.
