At the Altoona Cyber Academy for Secondary Education, students in Junior High and Senior High are provided with an online curriculum facilitated by Altoona Cyber Academy teachers. Students will have a defined curriculum with flexible instructional hours based on their needs. It allows kids to have flexibility with their work and gives them another option other than the traditional brick-and-mortar school.

ACA creates a learning environment where students can thrive if the traditional school setting does not suit them.

High School & Junior High Students - Grades 6-12

If you are interested in enrolling your student in the Altoona Cyber Academy, please contact your child's school counselor. If your child is not a current AASD student and they are planning to enroll, cyber information will be given at District Attendance when you register.

Our program offers flexible hours to complete school work in an asynchronous setting, school district employees who are available for one-on-one instruction, and a curriculum that coincides with the Altoona Area School District. Students may still participate in clubs, events, and extra-curricular activities like any other school district student.

To clarify, the Altoona Cyber Academy will be a different program than the Virtual program. It is completely asynchronous and is also meant for the student to participate in the program for the entire school year.
