My name is Christopher Woloszyk. I will be teaching 7th through 12th grade Science at the Kimmel Alternative School. After working for several years as a Research and Development Researcher in the steel industry, I attended The Pennsylvania State University and received my Bachelors in Secondary Education specializing in Chemistry earlier this year. I am certified to teach Chemistry and Biology in Pennsylvania.
I enjoy any activity that allows me to enjoy the outdoors. I spend my time hiking, fishing, hunting, backpacking, camping, and kayaking in the summer. You'll find me on the slopes in the winter, skiing and occasionally snowboarding. My interest in Science extends out of the classroom. I enjoy reading and studying on a variety of topics in modern Science. I am a self-professed Maker and STEM enthusiast. 3D printing, Computer Aided Drafting, electronics design, software development, and other topics that combine the abstract concepts in Science and real-world problems are a passion of mine.
I am optimistic and energized for the 2018-2019 school year.
